About Trakis
An audit of a website for search engines and for AI assistants, written for the owner of a small site who has no SEO person and no time for a report that never ends.
Why it exists
A list with a row for every page a problem sits on runs long. A missing tag on a product template becomes two hundred rows, and the one change that would remove all of them is buried among them. On an open-source documentation site we audited, 150 pages, the list had 900 rows; counted once each, they were 15 things to fix.
Trakis counts each problem once and says how many pages it covers, how much it holds the site back, and how hard it is to fix — in the order that matters.
What it looks at
66 checks in 8 categories: whether a page can be found and read, whether it is allowed into search, its titles and headings, its content, its structured data, its links, its speed, and whether an AI assistant can read and cite it. Each one is explained on its own page — every check we run.
The site is read by our crawler, TrakisBot, which asks for robots.txt first and obeys it. What we could not read is said, not counted as passed or as empty.
Who makes it
Trakis is a small, independent product. It is in beta: there is no paid plan, features change, and audits run on our own machine — usually within the hour, by the next working day at the latest. The full details are on the legal page.
A question, a mistake in a report, or a site you would like audited — write to hello@trakis.io. A person reads it.
