No author or organisation signal

Pages of 300 words or more with no author or organisation named — no meta author, no rel=author, no author in structured data. Who stands behind a text is part of how far it is trusted — by people, by search engines and by assistants deciding what to quote.

NoticeAI-004 · AI readiness · checked on every page

Where it usually comes from

Articles and guides published without a byline, and sites whose structured data never names the organisation behind them.

How to fix it

  • Say who stands behind the content: an author with a name on articles, the company on everything else.
  • The Organization block on the home page covers the company; for articles, add author to their JSON-LD.

Shown for an example shop at www.example.com. In a Trakis report the same fix comes with your own addresses and the list of your pages it applies to.

How to check it yourself

Look for an author line on the page, a rel="author" link, or an author in the page's structured data.

What it looks like in a report

Notice The content does not say who stands behind it. · /blog/*

Articles have no byline and no author in their structured data. (An example shop; the numbers are illustrative.)

How the audit counts it

AI-004 is a notice in the AI readiness category, and weighs lightly in that category’s score. When it appears on many pages built from the same template, the report shows it once, with the number of pages it covers — because one change in the template fixes all of them.

If the finding is deliberate on your site, it can be accepted as intentional in the report. It then leaves the list and the score, and comes back on its own if what it shows changes.
