The page has no structured data

Pages without any JSON-LD structured data. Structured data states in a machine-readable form what the page is — a product with a price, an article with an author, an organisation. It is what rich results and AI assistants read most reliably.

WarningSTRUCT-001 · Structured data · checked on every page

Where it usually comes from

Themes that ship without structured data, or an SEO plugin that adds it only to some page types.

How to fix it

  • Give these pages a JSON-LD block that says what they are: WebPage at the least, Product for a product, BreadcrumbList for where it sits.
  • Build it in the template from the page's own data, so every page of that kind gets one.

<script type="application/ld+json">

  "@context": "https://schema.org",
  "@type": "WebPage",
  "name": "{{ page.title }}",
  "url": "https://www.example.com{{ page.path }}",
  "isPartOf": {
    "@type": "WebSite",
    "name": "Example Shop",
    "url": "https://www.example.com/"
  }
}
</script>

Shown for an example shop at www.example.com. In a Trakis report the same fix comes with your own addresses and the list of your pages it applies to.

How to check it yourself

Paste the address into Google's Rich Results Test or the Schema.org validator; both list what the page declares.

What it looks like in a report

Warning The page has no structured data. · /product/* · 90 pages

Product pages say nothing machine-readable about price or availability; one block in the template covers them. (An example shop; the numbers are illustrative.)

How the audit counts it

STRUCT-001 is a warning in the structured data category, and weighs moderately in that category’s score. When it appears on many pages built from the same template, the report shows it once, with the number of pages it covers — because one change in the template fixes all of them.

If the finding is deliberate on your site, it can be accepted as intentional in the report. It then leaves the list and the score, and comes back on its own if what it shows changes.

Other structured data checks

Find it on your site

A Trakis audit runs this check and the other 65 on your site, and tells you on how many pages each one sits. Or go back to all the rules.
