Product without price or availability
Product structured data without a price or availability. Price and availability are what make a product eligible for rich results in search. Without them the markup says less than the page does.
WarningSTRUCT-004 · Structured data · checked on every page
Where it usually comes from
Product markup filled from a template that does not have access to the price, or out-of-stock products whose offer was removed entirely.
How to fix it
- Add an "offers" object to the Product with "price", "priceCurrency" and "availability", filled from the shop’s own data.
- For products out of stock, keep the offer and set availability to OutOfStock rather than removing it.
- Make sure the price in the markup is the one shown on the page; a mismatch is treated as an error.
How to check it yourself
Run a product page through Google's Rich Results Test: it lists missing price or availability as errors or warnings.
What it looks like in a report
Warning Product without price or availability. · /product/* · 30 pages
Out-of-stock products lost their offer entirely instead of being marked OutOfStock. (An example shop; the numbers are illustrative.)
How the audit counts it
STRUCT-004 is a warning in the structured data category, and weighs moderately in that category’s score. When it appears on many pages built from the same template, the report shows it once, with the number of pages it covers — because one change in the template fixes all of them.
If the finding is deliberate on your site, it can be accepted as intentional in the report. It then leaves the list and the score, and comes back on its own if what it shows changes.
